Anyone been to Maspalomas in Gran Canaria?

Anyone holidayed here with children? Looking into going at Easter and whilst I know the sand dunes are there I wondered what it’s like and whether you’d recommend it.

Yes - it’s a nice safe area, lots of choice for cafes and restaurants, some toy shops. Easy taxi trip to palmitos park, Aqua land holiday world, angry birds theme park. There’s a long pedestrianised stretch along the beach front with cafes etc so easy to stroll along with kids.
