Cost of flights, recommendations pls?

Can any regular holiday gooers tell me which destinations might have cheaper flights please?
We were hoping to book for the 3 of us to go away in October, somewhere like Tenerife, greek island or Majorca but the cost of the flights from Scotland is absolutely prohibitive, they look to have risen massively from the last time I looked into going away. Thanks

You seem to already know the cost of the flights and without dates, knowing who is travelling and duration nobody can help really.
