Want a week of winter sun for next January. Can only take 5 days annual leave.
Option A: Cape Town combined city break and winelands in nice hotel, good food and wine. Could potentially do 8-9 nights if fly overnight in business.
Option B: Caribbean Island, fly and flop, get a villa with private pool and explore. Probably somewhere like Antigua or Barbados.
Safety is a concern re South Africa. Have never been but have been to a fair bit of the Caribbean.
