Surf and Snorkel

looking for recommendations for a holiday destination in Europe that has good surf and snorkelling sites. Struggling to decide…So far I’ve looked at Tenerife , Majorca and Portugal.

I'm not sure you'll get both...but maybe wrong! Australia at least it tends to be one or the other

Yeah I’m finding it tricky to find somewhere that ticks both boxes, Australia not an option unfortunately. Might have to just pick one activity .

Hmmm I can think of some bits of Greece where there are windy beaches for windsurfing (eg Vassiliki is known for it) and other calm clear beaches for snorkelling nearby, maybe a short drive away. But it tends to be windsurfing rather than surfing.

Lanzarote would fit the bill.

Playa Chica in Puerto Del Carmen for snorkelling- it's a very popular place for scuba diving as well.

Famara for surfing. We hired a car as it's the other side of the island.. and booked our son into surf school.. it was excellent.
