Flying to Dubai

Hi has anyone flown from uk to Dubai with Emirates recently I am a bit confused, can I take a carry on plus handbag, I am economy, I have looked on line but not totally clear

The website shows 1 piece of carry on up to 7kg

Hi, I came back a week ago and took a small carry on wheeled cabin case and a small shoulder bag. I had no issues at checkin and had also called Emirates customer service beforehand. They also didn’t weigh my carry luggage at either end. Hope this helps. I flew economy.

It depends upon your ticket and what you've paid for!

I have, Gatwick to Dubai in February. I had a handbag plus a small flight bag. To board I always put my handbag inside my flight bag. The amount of stuff people take on board is crazy so don't be surprised if all overhead locker space is taken. We always stow our bags under the seat in front hence the small bags. So in my opinion I say yes it's fine as long as you can put the smaller bag inside your other bag for boarding and flight
