If you’ve had a great holiday, do you book to return the next year?

Just a beach holiday so not the kind of place where you see the sights once.

No, never. Can't think of anything more boring.

We do ! We go to a particular hotel We love in Croatia. You spend alot of money on your holiday you want to know it's great ! Tbf we have a greek one booked as well where we've never been before

JustDoneItNow · 29/02/2024 16:14

We go to the same hotel in Cyprus, its perfect, we tried other places and they were all meh, so this ticks it all for us😎

TeenDivided · 29/02/2024 16:14

Yes, we have done it with Jersey.
I mean we go every year anyway but few times we have rebooked the same accommodation.

PinkEasterbunny · 29/02/2024 16:15

Sometimes!

YaWeeFurryBastard · 29/02/2024 16:15

No we like to explore different places. We’ve had some amazing holidays and I can think of a couple of hotels we’ll go back to, but I’d never rebook for the following year.

Peakypolly · 29/02/2024 16:35

I always thought I never would, but once you have found the perfect holiday (for our family!) it is hard to resist.

allfurcoatnoknickers · 29/02/2024 16:42

We've been back to the same resort a few times, it generally works out about once every 2 or 3 years. I probably wouldn't go two years in a row though...

Maddy70 · 29/02/2024 16:43

No i like to travel to different places and experience different cultures

AuntieMarys · 29/02/2024 16:43

Yes...to an amazing adult only hotel in Lindos. But its not our only holiday...we go away a lot to different cities.

Roselilly36 · 29/02/2024 17:08

We went to IKOS in Oct 23, loved it, we have booked again for April 24. The food, staff, service were amazing. Would recommend. @AuntieMarys sounds great, can you share the name of the hotel?

ClashCityRocker · 29/02/2024 17:20

Depends what I'm needing from the holiday - if it's a rest and recuperation one after a particularly stressful time, I'll go somewhere I've been before. That way I already know the good spots for food and drink, what beach is quieter when etc etc.

And I completely get why families with kids or who don't have regular holidays would go back to somewhere that works for them - it's a lot of money to risk having a meh time, particularly with children in tow.

Generally we do go somewhere 'new' at least once a year, be it for a shorter holiday or a longer one.
