Holiday with 16 month old in April

Is there anywhere in Europe that's warm enough for a dip in the pool or sea in April?
Where is friendly for a 16 month old? We just want a relaxing holiday with nice towns to potter about (that are relatively accessible with a pushchair) and 3 hours or less flight.

Your best bet with be the canaries. Portugal for a short flight not sure if you would manage to catch the sun in April though.

Nowhere within 3 hours will be guaranteed (or likely) swimming weather in April. The Canaries are your best bet.

Not Europe but we took the kids to Morocco and was a three hour flight and lovely high 20s weather at Easter time, if the warmth is important to you.
