Ive booked Greece in May. First family holiday with grown up teenagers. Husband says too busy then so need to change to either easter or October half term.
My daughter's wish is to go on boat trips and jump into clear crystal warm (ish) waters. We have booked with Olympic Holidays they are being really helpful about changing dates.
Choices Greece,Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt ,Goa,The Gambia,Balearics
Any recommendations. tia

Is half-term the last week in October? Be careful which island you choose, lot of the resorts will start winding down restaurants.

We went to Cryprus in October, still warm enough to swim but we had also a rainy day. Same with Canaries. It also cools down from 5pm, you need layers.
You can do boat trips, I know people who dive around Cyprus.

While it was nice to soak up some sun, I would prefer going in May.

I don’t think Greece is that busy in May except maybe places that attract a lot of British families during half term. The water is not very warm at the start of the season either and weather could be warm/hot or still a bit chilly.

Croatia is for you if you want to jump into crystal clear waters. Absolutely stunning. Couldn't believe how much I loved it last year.
