Camping,unit/caravan hire in Europe

Hello

Can anybody recommend a campsite/holiday park anywhere Eurpoe, Spain, France, Greece, etc where we can hire an apartment, unit or caravan that doesn’t cost the Earth for four weeks during the summer holiday.

We would like a big pool, our own shower and toilet facilities (not shared) not in an isolated area as we will not be driving, and preferably near a lake so we can have some water fun.

found some online, but they are extortionate. We’re really not looking for bells and whistles ( entertainment etc) just simple, clean accommodation in an area where we can get local buses to explore locally.

this holiday is one adult and a 10year old child.

Eurocamp or Yelloh are the obvious ones. I often find last minute deals if you're prepared to wing it. Not all are near transport.

Or just look on Air B n B or Booking .com for apartments with shared pools and book flights. The main Greek, Spanish, French resorts will have good transport in the summer.
