NORTH WALES! Looking for luxury self catering for 8...any ideas?

I am trying to find a self catering cottage for 8 of us to celebrate a 'big' birthday and I'm struggling! I was thinking of anywhere coastal, including Anglesey, but my internet trawling is not proving very fruitful. I'm looking for somewhere really nice and don't mind paying a bit extra.

Anyone know of anywhere?

I'd go for one of the cottages in Portmeirion village which is utterly lovely

You have all the hotels (two of 'em) AMENITIES TO ENJOY INCLUDING UTTERLY FAB POOL AND YOU ARE NEAR LOTS OF intersting things to do.It is a terrific place.
