Hit me with your Greece recommendations

We've been to Kefalonia (loved) and Crete (nice but sea got a bit rough towards the end) and are looking for somewhere else. Family of 4, DC are 12 & 14. We're happy to move around a bit - drive or ferry - and either do hotel or villa. Where are the places you've loved? I'd just like to swim in the gorgeous clear sea everyday. It'll be August so realise everywhere will be pricey and busy!

Kids are too old for kids clubs and we're not very into sports, more relaxing around pool and eating!

Corfu, my second favourite island after Kefalonia.

Pefkos, Rhodes, lovely beach and loads of lovely tavernas.

Pefkos, Rhodes is amazing. Loads of amazing restaurants, perfect beaches and lovely hotels.

Same as above, parts of Corfu are gorgeous. We’ve been to kefalonia a lot and fancied a change last year.

Any particular bits of Corfu?

Will also look at Rhodes. Pefkos sounds like it may be more suitable for younger kids though?

The mainland peninsulas near Kalamata are really nice, especially if you have a car. (I wouldn't stay in Kalamata itself, but that is where you'd fly into.)

Skiathos is lovely. Really easy to get around on the island bus service, loads of beaches to explore, very pretty town and boat trips if you want them. We went with 2 teens and it felt really relaxed friendly and safe. We stayed in the south but if I went back I think I'd stay nearer the town for more choice for evenings out.

Corfu is beautiful, Benitses is lovely and not far from the airport or Corfu Town for exploring. We are going to Skiathos and Skopelos this summer and I'm very excited. Supposed to have amazing beaches
