Can anyone recommend hotel in canaries with 2yr old?

We are hoping to take our little boy on honeymoon with us next year.so thought maybe the canaries as flight wont be too long.can anyone recommend anywhere?

We stayed at an Iberostar aparthotel in Playa Blanca in Lanzarote a couple of years ago. It worked really well as it was half board (very good food) but we also had a little kitchen to make DD snacks etc. We also had a nice balcony to sit out on when DD when to bed and a fridge to keep our shop-bought drinks in.

The beach (next to the hotel) was very child friendly with gentle shelving and water warm enough to swim in in February.

There are some newer hotels in Playa Blanca which are much more of a 'honeymoon' standard. However, we really liked the Iberostar with a little one - it gave us the the best of self catering, with great food for breakfast and an evening meal made by someone else!
