Need a hotel in the canaries for April, ideally f'tura, g,Canaria or Lanza, with slides for 4 yr old, close to a nice beach, 20 min walk max to a town that's not over £2500-3k outside of half term in April! Where would you recommend?? Elba Sara is the best so far but only 2 slides fine but is there anywhere else?

Or option 2, Majorca, May time ideally outside of half term, near end may., alcudia is our fave, but struggling to find anything that ticks these boxes!

Maybe we're trying to find something that doesn't exist!

Can you be a bit more specific about the budget? There's a big difference depending on whether you want B&B vs full board or all-inclusive, if it has to include the flights, etc.

HD Cristobal in Gran Canaria is lovely, it's in playa de ingles, walking distance to lot of restaurant's, bars, shops, it has a shuttle bus to maspalomas beach. Hotel has a kids pool with slides, fountains etc and larger pool with slides for bigger kids (although my 5 year old went on it also). Def recommend

I doubt you would get a heated pool in Alucudia. A heated pool will be essential in April.

Just returned from Lanzarote, stayed at hotel Rio Playa Blanca which is unsurprisingly in Playa Planca. It has a small water park on site ideal for younger children and literally opposite a larger water park which is half price if you go for the last 2 hours of the day which is plenty. 10 minute walk to the beach and few shops/restaurants but the main larger strip is a good 25 minute walk or €4 in a taxi.

Lots of nearby hotels which would also be suitable such as the Relaxia Lanzasur (attached the main water park) or Flamingo Beach Hotel or Elba Hotel.

We have been to Playa Blanca a few times for Feb half term as always had lovely weather but will admit the pools are cold but the children don't seem to bothered and the pools have always been full. I just take a shortie wetsuit for mine.

As a guide this trip was booked with Tui and we paid £1600 all inclusive for 1 week. 2 adults and 1 child but was a free child place
