Poland Skiing

Can anyone recommend a ski resort in Poland, preferably in a quaint town, or near a city for a bit of sightseeing too. Many thanks

Zakopane in the tatra mountains

visited there at Xmas. Lovely resort. About 1.5 hours out of krakow

I came on to say Zakopane. The mountains are beautiful. We had a great time there and it wasn't too crowded at the time. The hotels are good and it has plenty of restaurants and little shops, entertainers and so on.
It's not too far from Krakow either, to have some days out.

This sounds good as looking for new weekend ski break destinations. Is there public transport to get there from Krakow airport please or if not any idea how much a private transfer costs?

Yes you can get a bus from krakow airport
takes about 2hours I think
