Where to go with toddler South Devon/Weymouth?

Hi, I’m on the lookout for recommendations for a caravan park in the South Devon or Weymouth area please with a 2.5 y old☺️ We went to Bowlease Cove last year and loved it but looking for something different now. Thank you!

Essential:

⁃	Toddler activities on site (must have softplay for rainy days)
⁃	Near to a good beach (closer the better)
⁃	Near to other attractions/family days out

Desired:

⁃	Close to rock pooling location
⁃	Nice little town and shops to explore
⁃	Nice cafes/restaurants nearby

I was thinking Ladram Bay but it’s quite a distance from attractions we planned to visit.
Cofton Holidays ticks all the boxes but the beach is a further walk away and it doesn’t seem like there’s much to do in the surrounding areas (Dawlish and Dawlish Warren).

Haven Devon Cliffs is another contender but I know it’s entertainment heavy and little one isn’t fussed about that (we prefer beaches, woods, walks etc) so not sure if somewhere else would be more suitable for the outdoors.

There's Freshwater Beach in Burton Bradstock - excellent pools, soft play and all that. Close to West Bay, Bridport, Abbotsbury which are great for pottering and stuff to do. Pebbly, rocky beaches but not really safe for swimming near the caravan park and you must stay away from the cliffs. However excellent rock pools/fossils in Charmouth, and Weymouth is not too far for sandy beaches and carousels.

Disclaimer, I only stayed here once years ago but live locally and have often used the pools and other facilities with dc.

Burton Bradstock itself has the fab Hive Beach cafe too. Nearby West Bay has several very good places to eat too.

Holburne Devon Bay is one of the best located holiday parks we’ve been to. It’s between the beach and a zoo, and about a 20 minute walk from a waterpark. Rock pools nearby at Fairy Cove https://www.englishriviera.co.uk/things-to-do/fairy-cove-p1277223

Thanks for the idea - will get Googling now!

Littlesea at Weymouth used to be lovely! Proper sand too, not the horrid red sand of south Devon.
