What is the best thing you brought or did in prep for or on holiday with a 4yo that made your holiday easier?

4 hour flight pending to Canaries...so looking for inspiration.

Buggy? For a 4 year old? Interesting... I wonder would I get one to fit him? Some 5-6 clothes are too small for him already...

Calpol and meds - very good idea!

Take an activity bag for him....some snacks and books/colouring pad/ cuddly toy. Also a couple of change of clothes for you all in case you're luggage gets lost. Happened to me more than once x also pack any medicine and calpol etc just in case x

Tablet and headphones for plane plus snacks. Let him choose a magazine at the airport. Calpol in carry on and some sucking sweets just in case.

Rash vest, towelling poncho for round the pool/beach. Nappy bags for wet swimsuit.

A buggy at that age would only be handy for sleeping in the evenings if you plan to stay out late but I wouldn’t buy one.
