Has anyone done the trip with a 4 year old? What was it like?

We did it when our son was 6 and I now wish he had been 7/8 as he barely remembers any of it. Was truly spectacular though.

I'm interested in this for an 8 year old. Any tips on who to book through/where to stay would be much appreciated.

We did the Harrinever 3 night experience. There was skidooing (adults 2 on each and children all towed in a covered sledge behind the guide). Husky dog sled tours, we cut down a christmas tree and decorated it while waiting to go and visit the man in red. The ice / snow activities were so fantastic that the FC experience was just the cherry on the top. One of our best holidays.

I went with my 5 year old and 8 year old and it was the most special and amazing experience. It’s been just over a year since we went and I still feel so privileged to have been able to go. It was truly beautiful.

We went for a week over Christmas in 2002 (21st - 28th December) and I can’t imagine experiencing anything so wonderful again. Sometimes it was like a dream because I genuinely couldn’t believe that a place so beautiful could exist.
