Any bottled water should be fine, the milks okay just doesnt taste as nice as our milk

Shitemum · 24/03/2008 09:19

How old is she? Boiled water is better than bottled for LOs. You can buy special water in tetrabriks for making up bottles in the Corte Inglés supermarket.
Liesel - strange comment about the milk! Surely the taste varies from brand to brand even within the same country?

cherryapple · 24/03/2008 15:20

Thankyou feo your replies. shitemum what is tetrabriks? sorry if its a silly question

Liesel is righ though - all Spanish milk is UHT so does taste different to fresh

Bouncingturtle · 24/03/2008 15:23

Perhaps Liesel is referring to the fact that uht milk is more widely used than pasteurised - certainly is on the mainland.

Bouncingturtle · 24/03/2008 15:24

Oh x-posted!

StaryNightSky · 24/03/2008 15:33

Sorry,

You can buy non - UHT milk in spain. But in the summer you would struggle to get it home from the super market befor it curdles!

also in Spain Bottled water that is certified as safe for making bottels is labled. They put a little babies bottle on the label, so you can buy that one!

cherryapple · 24/03/2008 18:48

Thankyou StarNightSky I didnt know that they put a babies bottle on the label that is really helpful.
