French Language Holiday for Teens

HI,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a holiday for unaccompanied teens to go to France for a week in the summer to improve their French and maybe stay with a host family? I am interested for my 14 year old son and his friend and I wondered if anyone had done this and would be willing to share their experiences?

If you send him with a friend he’ll talk to the friend.
Only language improvement comes if they’re the only English speaker. French families are very keen on their dc learning English so if you have any contacts, however tenuous you’re best bet is to offer an exchange.
My siblings and I all speak fluent French via extended family exchanges, so my cousins with their friends, my brothers with a godson etc. Over 40 years on we’re all still in touch.
