Benidorm vs Tenerife

Has anyone been to both? What would you recommend for a family? I was looking at the magic Robin Hood in Benidorm but my husband has said he would like to go give Tenerife a try

@fleurneige really we were thinking adeje as it seems to be most popular with families and they look to have some nice hotels. What part would you recommend?

Have stayed in GF Isabel and Hovima La Pinta in Costa Adeje. Liked both.

We found Adeje far too busy, and too hot. Much prefer Los Gigantes or Puerto de la Cruz. But we are all different ...

Done both. Found Benidorm disappointing. It had less Spanish parts than I was hoping for, and it was a bit 'cheaper and nastier' than I had imagined.
