I want a really relaxing holiday this year.We usually trek around and it isn't a rest at all. There are three of us just one teenage boy and he fancies chilling out too so we are looking for a stunning safe beach and not much else!It will be mid august when we can go and don't want a really long flight as we went to new york in november and ds moaned a fair bit

There are lots of lovely beaches in Europe Noddy eg. Greece but in mid-August you may be hard pushed to find anywhere thats not completely crowded.

We found a fantastic one in the South of Corsica called St Gigulia (sp) and waiting for DD and th bump to be older so we can go back for a week, safe, waterpsorts, hotel/villas, bar/restaurant, lovely.

We toured the greek islands 2 yrs ago for 3 weeks and it was fun but exhausting! Not excessivley crowded and would go back but to one place and to stay put!Don't want anywhere that is hassle to get to

Sardinia for example edges Corsica but both lovely beaches. However both will be crowded in August compared to the rest of the year as the italians/french all seem to take a holiday then.

Ithaica (sp?). Idyllic not much for a teenager to do though.
