Hit with ideas, 3 night solo trip somewhere warm

As the title says, hit me with some ideas of where I can go mid / end September where will be warm and safe for a female for 3 nights. Ideally adults only hotel with some nice food options, Im not a big drinker so just a glass of wine will do.
Of course I’d love to go with friends but they either can’t afford it or are teachers and can’t go outside of peak time which I’m not keen on paying so I want to go on my own whilst DH looks after our children (don’t worry ladies he’s having his own break after with the lads!)

The thought of sitting and doing nothing but reading a book or strolling for a few days is pure bliss and hopefully good quality sleep!

I always recommend Malaga every time for a short break. Lots to see, lovely food, beaches if you want to chill, and lots of nice hotels with rooftop pools. Very safe for a solo female traveller.

Thank you @chocolatesaltyballs22 looks like it’ll fit the bill perfectly! Hopefully still be warm in September, enough to sit out and read a book?!

Sardinia, lovely weather in September, amazing food and wine. Beautiful island.

Unless you are unlucky it should be warm enough to sunbathe and swim .

Sardinia, lovely weather in September, amazing food and wine. Beautiful island.

You would need to be wary of where you stay . A lot of the restaurants in the resort towns in the north (Costa Esmerelda) which are based around marinas seemed to be closed when we visited at that time last year .

How funny, I was going to post a very similar question today except I want to go away in April for a few days. Also looking for somewhere safe as a solo traveller.

I went to Mallorca in October by myself - that was lovely, felt safe and still warm.

Definitely, the weather should be perfect in September.

Definitely, I’ve been in September and it was sunny and 25. In April it was a bit showery and warmish.

Ohh this gets me excited!

Can anyone recommend any good adult only hotels in Malaga?

@ClaraPalaver I’ve been all over Italy but not to Sardinia, I think that might be a place I enjoy with DH as we love Italy together.

@MissIndecisive2023 where abouts did you go and recommend any adult only hotels?

Id prefer Adult Only if I’m getting away from my own DC I don’t want to hear anyone else’s 😂

Following. Sounds lush.

MinnieMountain · 15/02/2024 19:32

@MissIndecisive2023 I'm going to Avignon by myself in April. I’ve got a few days and didn’t want to fly.

Chocbuttonsandredwine · 15/02/2024 19:42

Also Malaga

then
Valencia
Tavira
Seville
Palma

but really Malaga

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 15/02/2024 19:53

@Fran92 I don't think it's strictly adult only but I've stayed on a girl's weekend and there were no kids in sight. Really cool rooftop bar and right in the centre. Hotel name is Room Mate Valeria.

piscofrisco · 15/02/2024 20:52

Seville.
San Sebastián
Marrakech

Beebumble2 · 15/02/2024 23:12

I’ve not stayed there, but Room Mate Valerie is really nice and central. It will be where I stay next time I visit.

samarrange · 16/02/2024 00:55

Sant Elm, Mallorca. There's only one hotel. This is the view from its terrace. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@39.5772793,2.354048,3a,61.1y,311.21h,91.06t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1sAF1QipMpXxNCcnQnfiP5tHpaAHSNSz8uGQZJ-0-dQOwq!2e10!3e11!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipMpXxNCcnQnfiP5tHpaAHSNSz8uGQZJ-0-dQOwq%3Dw203-h100-k-no-pi-2.704924-ya79.658264-ro-5.779322-fo100!7i5376!8i2688?entry=ttu

If the town gets too lively for you (very unlikely), get the boat over to the uninhabited island in the photo.

MinnieMountain · 16/02/2024 06:53

That looks amazing @samarrange

itsgettingweird · 16/02/2024 07:02

2nd Malaga.

The train all along the coast is cheap and easy so you can explore the coastal resorts such as Fuengirola and Benalmadena etc.

Ds and I have been going to Torreblanca (between the 2) for many years and it's such a nice place to visit and we've done Malaga on the train numerous times.

MissAmbrosia · 16/02/2024 11:34

Seville.
