Just that really, its bloody expensive trip so would love any tips for bring food costs down, going for 4 nights.
Also any general travel tips - we are doing the museums, walk by Thames, bridges etc.
Thinking of Big bus tour to see all the sights - its pricey though!

A lot of restaurants are doing kids eat free so find them and plot your map. Similarly ditch the tourist bus, get a seat on the top deck and use a normal bus.

I think Bills are doing a kids eat free this half term.

Don’t bother with the bus tours. Plenty of regular buses go along the same routes and cost a fraction of the amount of money. The number 24 is a good one.

Download the citymapper app to get around.

Do they still have the coupons for tickets for entry to places like the aquarium and dungeon on the share bags of chocolates.? They saved us a bit money.

Inamo Covent Garden is great for kids. Interactive tables. Check the menu first though.

Take the cable car across the river and then get the DLR to the museum of London docklands - they're driverless so if you sit at the front your kids can "drive" the train. check out the view from the Sky Garden or the gardens at the barbican. Science museum / natural history museum/ horniman museum.
All of these are free or very cheap.
