Audley, Kuoni or Trailfinders?

Have you used them? Were they good? Did you get the holiday of your dreams?

I usually book our holidays online, but next year we are considering a ‘big’ holiday in Asia. There will be lots of internal flights and specialist trips. I could book the trip myself, but because we’ve never done this type of holiday before, I’m considering booking through a specialist travel company. I’ve had my first telephone consultation with Audley and have a meeting with Kuoni and Trailfinders next week. Kuoni have come out best in a recent survey, but they don’t have any prices on their website, so I’ve no idea if they are in the running anyway.
Thoughts?

Friends use trailfinders but me at 70, have always booked our own trips. It’s much much cheaper. We went to Australia a year ago via Singapore and did Sydney, Canberra, Tasmania, Melbourne and back via Frankfurt with Lufthansa.

booked all the visas, flights, hotels and Airbnb apartments as don’t like staying in hotels much, train, car hire here and there, wildlife parks etc.

managed to get a business class Lufthansa flight upgrade for 2 for 275 each.

all in all £10.000 for a 5 week holiday for 2 inclusive of food and everything. With some premium class seats as well
