Holiday to New York in May with DCs

We are planning to go to New York in May as it’s our 10yr wedding anniversary. We got married there and we want to take our DCs to see the spot where we got married. Our DD is 10 and our DS is 7.
what would you recommend to see/do?
we have done most of the main tourist things first time round -don’t
mind doing them again. But thought there may be mumsnetters that can give good tips for family activities.

New York is super expensive, even more so than 10 years ago due to exchange rates so it is a case of what is your budget?

Some obvious things are Central Park, walking the high line, Staten island ferry. The original Winnie the Pooh toys are in the New York public library (used to be free). We found plenty of more reasonable restaurants in helks kitchen

We enjoyed a tour of MSG, climbing the SOL, walking the Brooklyn Bridge and a pedicab tour of Central Park.

Coney Island is good for a day trip.

We went when ours were 11 and 8.
They liked:
MoMath near the flat iron building.
The pinball machine museum which is small but the kids loved it.
Riding the subway.
Going on the Staten Island Ferry
Buying a huge pizza and eating it in bed in the hotel room when their legs were tires from a day of sightseeing.
Central Park Zoo.
Watching Brooklyn Nets basketball game at the Barclay Centre.
