Portugal recommendations?

Hey all,

Looking to book a family holiday for August for myself, DP, 2 year old and 1 year old.

We're currently looking at Portugal.

Lovely places to sight see & family friendly with plenty of restaurants etc.

Alvor is a great family resort. Beautiful beaches and lots of restaurants down quaint narrow streets.

Does anyone have any recommendations for "old town" Portugal? Thank you!

Agree Alvor is beautiful - especially the beaches.

Carviero is lovely too.

Thanks all! I think we're set on Lagos! Saw a hotel called cascade wellness resort! It has a washing machine and a kitchen ... bonus 😂

We loved Alvor too.
We went to Lagos for the day, it's much bigger as a resort than Alvor with a more bustling nightlife. DD as a teenager said she'd like to go there for a holiday.
