Winter holiday with snow but not skiing

We want to take our 2 children age 3 and 5 to see snow after Christmas but we don't really know where.
We don't want to ski but would like other winter activities (sledging etc) and ideally stay in a self catering log cabin type thing.
Would really appreciate suggestions as I am struggling to find much online.

Thanks ☺️

@MrsPerfect12 thank you. How long did you go for and where did you stay? We have a week, is there lots to do to fill a week?

Thanks

Finland/Lapland, flights to Rovaniemi with Ryanair are very cheap after Christmas and lots of winter activities. I've not been but somebody on my FB has been recently and it looked fab!

We've been to Levi in Finland about 7 times. Lots to do; sledging ,amazing walks, husky rides, reindeer rides, Santa

We went to Kittila and stayed at the crazy reindeer. The hotel is nice enough but the food is terrible. I plan to go back and would either stay there again and stay room only or hire a lodge.
if you are on FB look up Lapland on a budget, visit Lapland and Lapland chat you'll find all the areas and you'll get lots of ideas and tips.
