Multiple entry for Visa on arrival in Egypt - Hurghada

Hi all, my first ever post - even though every question I ever need answered I "google mumsnet" it. So I hope that you can help me.

We have had a nightmare with a booked holiday with Easyjet. It is too long of a story to go into but my husband and I are trying to make the best of things and attempt to use the holiday that Easyjet refused to let us change the date by a week on (10 minutes after I placed the booking) the holiday has already started and of course I cannot get hold of Easyjet.
Can my husband and I get a multiple entry visa on arrival at Egypt for tourism (a holiday) does anyone know? As we are going to try and get to our already paid waiting for us holiday but need to also take the kids later on, and we need to ensure that we will be able to able to re enter Egypt. We haven't got enough time to get an e visa, it can only be a Visa on arrival, but we don't want to pay another £500 on flights to get to our paid package holiday and then cannot take the kids on their family holiday. Basically as you have probably worked out - we are having to pay for 2 holidays, one of which we are not on as our kids were devastated, as this is the first time since babies going on a plane and a holiday that is not camping. So of course the family holiday trumps us going out to save a waste.

I hope that makes sense, and that someone can answer my question. I am currently no.4 in the queue to the Egyptian Embassy and have been on hold for over 3 hours! First time, I got through and was cut off...am definitely loosing confidence in everything as time goes on.

Please help! Thanks.

Don't get the e visa. I've heard so many stories of people going through the booking, then paying, then not been given the visa at all and no money back either. Look at the reviews for the e visa site.

Just pay for one on arrival. They take stirling, euros or US dollars. It was very easy. The man in the passport checking booth doles them out.
