Hello,

We are wanting to go on holiday at Easter time approx 5 days.

Thinking of a City break, can anyone recommend somewhere that has plenty to do for kids? They are both happy to do plenty of walking.

Rome was fantastic and loads to do. My kids were about those ages too.

Copenhagen also had tonnes for kids to do but doesn’t have the food Italy does and everything was a bit more expensive.

UK or abroad?

Rome! Our DC were a bit older but loved it.

And the food is child friendly - pizza and ice cream.

Uk: Northumberland for Alnwick Castle and other castles. Plus Newcastle. Unless you live there already.

Abroad: Amsterdam is always a good shout. What history are they doing at school? If Romans then Italy. They might like Pompeii. Athens is a good shout too.

Venice or Verona!

Venice is fun as it’s easy to walk around.

Rome - go in the second week. Easter in Rome is serious business and it's very crowded.

Thank you so much for the suggestions 😀

Happy to do UK or abroad, don’t mind.

Writing all these down, so have ideas for future years too 😃
