Butlins advice

Hi we've booked to take ds to Butlins. He turns 2 week after we go so it's kinda a birthday thing for him also helps that he is free until he is 2. So today I've upgraded from new style silver to a gold apartment as I didn't realise they don't provide towels in the silver. Just wondering what the gold one is like it says we're in the keys village. (Skegness Butlins) I like to plan ahead for any eventualities so any tips and tricks would be perfect. Ds is quite quiet and likes his own company so I've heard the gold apartments are quieter. Thanks. X

I, personally, don't think they are worth the extra money. They are also at the furthest point of the site meaning a lot of walking for little legs so you may find he gets tired. Have you booked a meal plan? When are you going? Is it a tots break?

It's to close to change it back now. For future reference which apartments are closer? We're taking stroller with us so if needs be can wheel him back and forth. We're going in April for a tots break. We've got premium dining plan. Ds is a very strong walker though and has just been out for an hour and a half walk around our local park.

There's a Facebook group dedicated to Butlins Skegness, it's really useful for tips like this.
