Cheap summer hol abroad for family of 6

As title, looking to book for a family of 2 adults, 4 kids aged 5,6,11 & 12.

Due to partners job it has to be summer hols. All I can find is around £4,000 minimum.

have briefly looked at doing villa and flights but unsure where does cheap flights.

any advice? Thanks

Look at Pierre et vacances, France and Spain. Cheapest option is to choose north or west coast of France and drive

Driving is out as 1. We’d need to take two cars and 2. If we hired one to fit us all I’d likely kill the children after we drove to Cornwall from Yorkshire last year 🤣
