Gothenburg - we're going in July. Anyone got an top tips on where to go and what to see?

Get yourself a 3 day travel pass which means you can hop on and off trams, trains, buses and Ferries.
In the city there is liseberg and universium next to each other new water park opening in March next to liseberg
Liseberg also has Summer concerts so check out what is on while you're here
The islands are a good shout north and south for walking and swimming
Lots of lakes to visit out of the city for swimming
Haga for souvenir shopping
Lots of lovely restaurants however eating out isn't cheap!
No need for cash everything is card payment
If you want to buy alcohol you can only buy it from systembolaget which closes at 3 on a Saturday and doesn't reopen until Monday at 10!

Universium is a fun, whole day out.
