For 2 teen girls? Hoping for a cheap and cheerful break in the summer holidays. I'm in the midlands .

We always went to Minehead. I think Minehead is a nice little town in itself, whereas Bognor seemed grim and the Butlins itself was smaller.

This was a few years back now though.

Thank you! They all seem similar time to get to so that's helpful feedback - DD loves a shop or two !!

Haven't been to any of the others but Skegness is OK.Its actually in Ingoldmells so a short bus ride /walk to pleasure Island-a good size ride place with rides for all ages and also a massive market attached.Beach quite nice.
Skegness itself, again a short bus ride away-the bus picks up on Butlins. Not a bad seaside town quite big, a few shops /tat shops, sealife centre, pier with rides, bowling etc, plus other things dotted about to keep them amused. Not a bad beach.
Also just in case you do like to go for a drink most of the pubs are family friendly, some with entertainment.Just mentioning this as I found Butlins entertainment a bit young for teenagers.

That's a good point actually @Firstinlastout . How old are your daughters OP? We last went when DS was 12, although I took DS and his friend to Pontins when they had just turned 13. Would never recommend Pontins itself but they had a great time playing with some of the other kids on the site - I think they enjoyed the freedom as it felt quite safe but OTOH was a bit lonely for me.

Thinking again to Butlins - there was 'all ages' entertainment such as tribute bands and an act from one of the TV talent shows . Don't know about current offerings though.
