Has anyone stayed here?

We’re 3 ladies looking for somewhere to chill round the pool during the day then Al fresco dinner and a few drinks at night.

We’ve seen a really good deal and just wanted a bit of feedback before we look at booking.

For comparison, our last two holidays have been Skiathos Town and Kamari, Santorini.

We've been a couple of times but not for years! We really enjoyed it, lovely harbour. The thermal springs just outside the town were good fun.

Love skiathos town. Molyvos has a similar feel although less cosmopolitan. Great food. Lovely views. There was a fab cocktail bar called Mollies ran by a couple of gay guys that was much fun. Didn't rate the local beaches though at all.

Thank you. I’m looking at a couple of hotels with pools so the beaches don’t worry me.

From looking online it looks quite a compact traditional village which would suit us. A great local cocktail bar sounds like a place to end the night definitely

There is something strangely addictive about Molyvos, spent the last 2 May’s there, it sounds like what you are looking for.

Taxis in town were reasonable to get you to Eftalou springs, and the lovely stony beaches and coves just beyond.

Boat trips from Molyvos to Skala Sikamineas along the coast.

There’s a good Facebook page you might want to look at.

It’s also the closest migrant crossing point from Turkiye, you might see the Frontex patrol boats in the harbour.

Just an update to say we’ve booked a week in June. Only 2 now as the other cousins commit but really looking forward to trying Molyvos
