Bob the Builder Live - cf Me Too! or Charlie & Lola?

Anyone seen this? And if so, is it OK? I mean, obviously my 2 1/2 year old would probably love it but, having sat stony faced through CBeebies Live, I am reluctant to lose another hour and a half of my life to another over-priced crappy apology for children's threatre. But if it's watchable (in the same way that, say, Thomas & Friends is watchable) then I'll bite the bullet.

Didn't know these were live - where can you see them ???

There's quite a few venues. Birmingham Alexandra theatre for one (so it's more promising than if it were at the NIA) - This www.seetickets.com/see/event.asp?e%7Cartist=BOB%20THE%20BUILDER%20LIVE&filler1=see gives all the dates. But it's a semi-regular thing - there are DVDs of the shows going back to 2002, and I just wondered if it was worth the money.

We have been to Lazytown and Tweenies lately, Tweenies was ok but both loved Lazytown (7 and 3).

I will say though, don't waste your money buying all the crappy stuff there, when we went to see Tweenies there was a woman behind me had done £50 in sweets and light toys before they even got in to their seats!

I fill my bag with goodies and just buy an ice-cream at the interval.

DH and DS went to Thomas Live today. Apparently it was pant-wettingly brilliant for DS and even DH really enjoyed it. If BTB were like that, then I'd probably splash out, but if it were another CBeebies, then I'd rather just flush the cash down the loo.
