What should I expect to pay for 2 weeks self catering for 3 adults in Greece in late June early July? … nothing at all fancy 3/4 star hotel/apartment with a nice pool in walking of nice town/ resort. We would be flying out from northern airport. Whats the ball park these days?

I know, I just don’t know what the norm is now… last time I holidayed in Greece it was in the 1990s… so after general guidance on what I should expect to pay? Anyone?

I've spent ages looking across Paros, Corfu, Crete and Santorini for something just like you've described and there's very little that fits the bill unfortunately. The 'walking distance to town' bit is the trickiest part if you also want a pool seemingly.

We're only looking at eight nights but currently the guestimate for accommodation and flights for late June is about £2000 (family of four). Paros and Santorini (our final selections) are expensive islands though so that will factor into accommodation costs.

I'm not sure about self catering but I went to Skala in Kefalonia June 2022.
We stayed at The San Giorgio Hotel which is either 3 or 4 stars. We paid £600pp for all inclusive which was really cheap.
It was booked last minute so maybe that's why but you don't have to use the all inclusive (although the breakfast was always good (dinner bog standard all inclusive)
The location was beautiful, you can get a bus into Argostoli plus lots of boat trips, although Skala itself is a lovely town.
For self catering I'd say budget £120 per day... that obviously could be less if you don't eat out every evening.

You got a fabulous deal
I just priced the same hotel for end of June it’s over double that price now… blooming inflation!!

@OhFortheLoveOv We normally take £1000 but it will likely be a little more than that this time as my plans are for next year when my youngest will be eating meals too.

I don't know if you are trying to avoid school holidays but there is an Half term at the end of May/start of June so try and avoid that if you can. Or wait, holidays drop by hundreds if you leave it until a few weeks before sometimes.

I went to Skiathos last June and Santorini in Sept both self catering. I paid about £700 and 550 per person for week and about £500/600 each holiday spending money.

Thats one person for a week each time. Though prices increased a lot this year. My Skiathos holiday is over £900 now for sane dates/accommodation.

Fancied a change this year,3,star self catering at 3k eek! Do you think I’m better to leave it until last min? - want to go July ish
