Costa Del Sol or Canaries - End of March

Looking to book a week AI for DH, myself, DC's 2 & 8 the end of March, it will be half-term.

Good value in the Costa Del Sol, plus flight time is a little less for the toddler. Weather can be unpredictable though the end of March. Anyone been that time of the year, what was it like? Any recommendations for hotels? Would like to have a busy enough place to entertain DD who is 8.

Canary Islands are slightly more pricey, longer flight but I guess weather is guaranteed. Looking at Fuerteventura, Caleta De Fusta, near the airport.

Any advice on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

It’s swings and round abouts, much better weather in Fuerteventura but not much to do with kids, outdoor pool may still be a little chilly, Spain there’s lots to do even in the rain and the flights shorter and it’s cheaper
