Any recommendations for 4 nights for a summer staycation? Family of 4 with 9 and 15 year old. Places to stay, places to go. Any advice would be welcome.

North Norfolk is beautiful. Lots of lovely beaches. Holme next the sea is my favourite.

I love North Norfolk too. We always stay in Wells-next-the-sea, lovely beach, near the Holkham estate, nice town, great playground and we love crabbing by the quay too!

Had a lovely holiday in Norfolk a few summers ago.

started in Norwich and then headed off to the coast.

stopped at Bewilderwood. Great place to spend a few hours.

then off to Cromer, which we didn’t love, but weather wasn’t great so not great for a coastal town.

stayed at the Cromer Country club which has lovely apartments and a great indoor pool.

from there we drove to wells next the sea, best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life.

we took a little train to the beach, I believe is not active any more, which is a shame as it was lovely for the kids, but it’s a lovely walk to the beach anyway and you can rent kajaks, there is a beaufiful area which is sheltered from the sea and it’s very calm. The beach itself is beautiful too.

on the last day we went to see seals at Blakeney point, the kids loved it.

I think the 15 year old would enjoy everything. I know my husband and I did!
