Lakeside hotel (with kids) in Bavaria

We’ll be near Nuremberg/in the south of Germany for May half term. I think I like the idea of an apartment or hotel by a lake of some sort but pretty flexible really. Has anyone stayed anywhere amazing or has recommendations for fun stuff with kids? They’ll be 6 and 8.

Another vote for the Playmobil funpark! My dds are 16 and 18 and still talk about our visit 10 years ago 😆

Yes, Playmobil land is actually why we're going! Went to it last year and it was SO good we're going back. Last time we spent lots of time in Nuremberg itself which is why I'd rather do something non city-ish and then end with the high that is the world of playmo!
That hotel looks amazing @shearwater2 and only 2 1/2 hours drive so doable. I love holiday research so so much.
