I want to do a classic pool/beach holiday in may half term with dh & dc (13 and 5). Decent budget but I don't want to make it overly fancy. Just a nice, not too big, resort or hotel with a safe pool and a short distance to a beach. I've always preferred to wander out for dinner but AI could work too.
Can anyone recommend any areas or hopefully specific hotels which will be:
- warm enough to swim or with heated pools
- not long haul, 4hrs max
- a few accessible things to explore nearby without long journeys -villages/parks/museums/scenery/anything to spend a few days out of the hotel.
I feel like I'm going round in circles here 🤦♀️
