Any suggestions for a warm beach holiday April

We're clutching at straws here I think but we're fantasizing about a beach holiday in early April that is warm enough that you can swim in the sea, and can go on long scenic walks.

But we're also trying to find somewhere that is
a) a short distance away
b) not too expensive

Any suggestions?

Canaries will be warm.

Gran Canaria

I think you're looking at a 3-4 hour flight minimum. Canaries, Jordan, Egypt. The Murcia region of Spain might be ok but the sea will be cold.

Fuerteventura - south of the island for long unspoilt beaches with great walking.
Turkey - Antalya region

Thanks! We were considering this but it looked quite built up from photos ? We were worried our "scenic walks" we want would be with a backdrop of hotels/highrises. Or did we get the wrong impression ?

Thanks! Hadn't heard of Fuertecentura before, the south of the island looks lovely! As does turkey

I'd avoid Turkey in April, I wouldn't think it'd be quite warm enough. May to October is usually fine but you'd be risking rain and not warm enough in April.

Southern Turkey has been fine temperature wise for me for walking and sea swimming for past 9 years during month of March/early April - if it helps.

Fuerteventura - Jandia Princess, Princess Hotel, Magic Life hotels - all good for direct beach access and unspoilt walking - or Jandia town itself if you want access to bars outside hotels etc.

Writing this from Magic Life…😊

@TooIntrovert Gran Canaria is very built up. I didnt like it for that reason. It will be warm tho, and beaches are nice
