Where are you going on holiday (with tweens)this summer?

Hoping to get some inspiration for our own holiday! DH is being unhelpful with ideas (sigh) Looking to go away end July/ start August. Budget is £6k

We are a family of 4 with two tweens who I think will want to do more this year than lie by a pool, which would be my choice!

My preference would be to stick with an AI for ease with some nice day excursions added and I’ve been looking at Club Med but would also like to know what and where everyone else is booking or any particularly successful holidays you’ve had with your tweens :)

Not summer but we are hoping to go to either Mexico or Dominican Republic in the October holidays.

£6K will just about cover 2 weeks AI 4 star in those locations.

Loads of great excursions in those locations.

Self catering gite with hot tub and swimming pool in south of France. We'll drive down and stay in Paris on way down and theme park on way back. I have 3 boys who get on well and I like cooking so a week in the middle of nowhere and chilling out suits us all.
