BA package holiday using avios

Idiots guide to the above please. I’ve worked out how to use avios just for flight seats. Is it possible to use avios on actual BA package holidays and if so, how?

When you’re booking the holiday on BA website, it gives you the option to pay in Avios. You just log in to Avios account and your point amount comes up and you can take it off the holiday cost or in my case, it took the £100 Avios equivalent I had as part payment for the deposit. I just paid a teeny bit of deposit and the balance as usual. Was very straightforward.
