Has anyone else had a bad experience with Priceline?

Priceline are a company that purport to offer the lowest prices in hotels, holidays and car rentals- except they don't. Their 'express deals' where they only reveal the hotel after you have paid, are sold on the basis of being the cheapest online- except they aren't. Within 5 minutes of booking, I found the same hotel and room offered on several sites for less- the cheapest turned out to be £70 less than the one offered under Priceline. Their 'best price guarantee' offers to match the difference plus 200% - except they dont. despite having signed up for VIP status and uploading multiple screen shots as evidence of the price difference the persons on their 'chat' ( I had 3 in the end) refused to process the price match. When I showed them the wording in their own policy they 'obfuscated' saying that the VIP status wouldn't show up on their systems for another 48 hours. Conveniently after the deadline to submit will have passed. Feel frustrated and ripped off- has anyone else experienced similar? 😡😡😥

It's not clear what you screen shots are of. The receipt for Priceline shows £115 per night vs the other screen shot of £126 per night - Priceline being cheaper .

But then you have a total with Priceline of £319.98 - so what does that include ?
