Which car seat to buy for holiday?

We’re travelling to mainland Spain in June with 14 month old twins. We’ll be hiring a car there, and rather than pay the car rental company for car seat hire, we want to buy and take our own so we can reuse these in second car at home. Can anyone recommend any lightweight, good quality car seats for us to take? We’ll need to put these in hold on the plane, and they’re not our main car seats, so not wanting to pay a fortune as they’ll likely be thrown around a fair bit- don’t want to scrimp too much though and compromise on safety/comfort. Thanks

Probably Graco Extend R129 is the best thing you'll get for not too much money. Must be used rear facing with children under 15 months.

We’ve got two Joie stages, kept the boxes and take a roll of tape! Often on offer on boots, I think we paid around £90 (bought a year apart).

We ended up going for these Joie ones ☺️
