Change Euro

I have a 50 Euro note and need it swapped to smaller denominations such as 5 and 10 Euro notes. Does anyone have any idea where I can change my note into smaller denominations in the UK? I have tried 2 different banks and they said they can’t, said to try bureau de change. Went to three different bureau de change and they said can’t swap notes.

Is this an impossible thing to do? Anyone know of anywhere else I can try? Or do I have to go and change some £ to Euro. I guess there is a minimum amount need to exchange too 🤔

Ask around people you know? My parents often have a stash of euros, for example. If you were my friend I'd get them to swap it for you!

Thanks @Janek Just to update, I was wrong, there is no minimum amount needed to exchange, so I was able to change a small amount in bureau de change
