Pref not Spain/Spanish islands as done them a lot recently.
2 or 3 adults, prefer family room or apartment. It's me and the 2 DDs 18 and 22.
Half board or AI
Good food options. Happy to eat out of hotel too.
Walkable to the beach
Nice grounds
Shops etc to walk to.
Have also liked having our own sunbeds on our patio when we once had that in Lanzarote.

Budget?

Happy to spend up to approx 3k.

Not the hugest of budget I admit, but have stretched a bit more in the past.

We went to Crete last summer; "Atlantica Atkinson Zeus" hotel, it was beautiful! Beach was part of the complex and did a lot of water sports, food in the hotel was amazing and we are quite fussy. (All inclusive), there was a waterpark there too. Evening entertainment we didn't really bother with but sat outside a wine bar after dinner and played cards or just talked. Shops about 10 minute walk up the road or bus stop to nearest city took approx 30 minutes and ran regularly. Lots of siteseeing, day trips, boat trips etc. we'd deff go back. We went as a slightly younger family (dd 13) but there were plenty of older teens there with and without parents.
