Canaries at Easter

Not done Easter before but is £3,500 usual for a week break? We are looking all inclusive with two teens so will need a two room set up.
I ask as we did Greece AI for a week one may half term and it was £2,600.
I’m surprised it’s that much dearer but do get it’s Easter.

Prices for villas (never used a hotel) are pretty similar throughout the whole year, so i'd be surprised if easter is super expensive. have you considered a villa - you could easily get one with a heated private pool for £1k and then we have just paid £310 total for two flights. so that would leave 1.3k for eating out (looking at your greek costs)?

That could be an option thank you. There are 4 of us so flights would be more and had thought of AI as I want holiday from meal planning, shopping and cooking. Also kids might have fun with others about by pool etc.

Have a look at weather a Easter is very early for Greece and Canaries a winter destination. That might explain the price.

We went to Greece mid April last year and weather was a lottery. Unheated pools almost unusable. The sea was cold but OK for an hour once in.

It sounds reasonable to me. Canaries are very popular at Easter as Europe isn't really warm enough.

I am very nerdy and have a notebook of all our holidays. We had one week AI in Lanzarote for two adults and two teens in April 2012 and it was over £2000.
Just be aware that pools will be cold even if heated due to legal restrictions on heating pools, and it's cool in the evenings.
