I’d like to do a 3-5 days trip with three children, maybe Easter, just me. Ideally minimal/ easy driving.
Can anyone recommend a specific place? Eurocamp or equivalent ball park of pricing.
thanks!

It depends which port you’ll be arriving at. If it’s Saint Malo, then definitely Domaine des Ormes. If it’s Caen, then Huttopia Calvados-Normandie.

Where about in the uk are you we did Tergspelglt in the Netherlands last summer, by ferry from Hull. There was about 1 hr driving in the UK and 1.5 hrs in the Netherlands.

Easter is early this year. 31 March. Weather might be a bit grim for an outdoor ish holiday still though.

The Eurocamp website lets you put proximity to airport or ferry port as part of the search function (if you keep scrolling past the countries).

Calais or Dunkirk are my obvious cheap ferry ports.
I’d like personal recommendations because I’ve been to a few horror sites in the area

One of our favourite sites is La Croix du Vieux Pont around 3 hours from Calais. We’ve been there at least 5 or 6 times. Pools are great, there’s a swimming lake with beach and lots of activities.
