Camping Piantelle Lake Garda - anyone been there or nearby?

Off to Camping Piantelle on Lake Garda in June doing the Eurocamp mobile home thing. Going with some mates and their kids (tho' all in separate cars and accommodation .
Has anyone been there or nearby? Any tips for Eurocamping style holidays in general, ooh, and will it get cold at night?
Any feedback much appreciated.

no but i am doing eurocamp in venice in june! so excited!!!

have only ever done it in france before and it did get chilly at night in the first few days and then when the wind died down it was fine.
top tip-don't forget your corkscrew!

Bunny, you are a woman after my own heart. I think there's one in the mobile home thingy but I shall take my own just in case. We have also ordered a welcome pack for the first night and it contains a titchy bottle of wine. I hope we can supplement it with more from a local supermarket but it will do in an emergency!
On here I've seen messages saying that an old towel to act as a bathmat is a good thing to take.
Am V. excited also and a little bit nervous...

yes. good idea. we took an actual towelling bathmat and that was good.
more towels than you think you will need because there is nothing worse than getting dried on minging towels.
we have ordered the welcome pack to. one of the things i read said the wine was a 75cl bottle-which is a real bottle isn't it?
am looking forward to lots of valpolicella and prosseco!

are you driving all the way there? we are flying to treviso and then hiring a car.

We fly from Edinburgh to Milan and then pick up rental cars. I think 75cl is a real bottle though it looked small in the photo of what was in the welcome pack and I must have panicked .
We have booked the baby pack (cot and stuff), the linen pack and the towel pack but I'll take a couple more towels, too.
We hope to get to Venice for the day but without the kids in tow!
How long's your drive from Treviso?

i think it's only a short distance. unfortunately , our flights are at 6.30am so means a 4.30am check in but we thought that was good as we would be there by 10ish. have now found out we can't get onto campsite till 3pm!!!!

we have ordered the linen pack too but are taking own towels as i'm a bit funny about them! they have to be suitably huge!

the bottle does look tiny but when i read something on the website it said 'new packs ' and the description said 75-we shall have to wait and see!

we took absolutely all sorts last time as we drove but will be taking only basics this time.
